crashing one of the hottest parties of the year certainly hadn’t been on his list of priorities for the evening, having only recently been dumped by the girl he adored, but his best friend, erica, had convinced him that it was an excellent idea. what better way to get over an ex than by crashing the party of your family’s archnemesis?

now that he was alone in a room packed with people, isaac could name several ideas that were definitely better than this one. because if he got caught… well, his plan was to make it to college without a rap sheet. trespassing and deliberately disobeying a restraining order? it probably wouldn’t do him any favours.

but as soon as he spotted her, all logic and reasoning went out the window; she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen in his life. his jaw went slack.

Call it what you will, but lydia would call it the party of the century. her uptight mother insisted on having the grand get together for reasons only god knows. perhaps it was that the fact that lydia’s father’s boss was in town, and this was the perfect way to present her daughter as an eligible match for his son. anyway to suck up to the boss. it was the most likely reason. her father was always going on about how ’he is such a nice boy.’ but she didn’t care. lydia enjoyed parties more than the average girl, and she saw it as a perfect opportunity to just forget everything and bask in the mingling crowd.

One thing was for sure. the last thing lydia wanted was to run into her parents, who were drunk off whatever they were serving in clear glasses. she could almost feel them pushing her to introduce herself to the boy with no name. lydia found herself in the middle of the room, the music pumping through her feet, rushing up her exposed legs.

But he caught her eye. faster than any college boy or lacrosse player ever had. and he was approaching. his words were quick, and so was her response. there was a gravitational pull between them. like the earth and the moon.

❝ yes.. ! absolutely. ❞

The crimson haired girl prayed that she didn’t sound to desperate as she involuntarily reached for the boy with a mass of curl’s hand.

Hey guys, guess what… I broke 3000 followers! Yes, that is the right amount of zeros. Freaky, right? So, instead of doing the normal type of promo, which I’m terrible about doing, I’m going to do an AU Matchmaker promo!

What does that mean? It means that you say you want to do the thing, I match you with someone else, and give you an AU idea. It’s a great way to meet new RP partners, do some sort of crossover, and have an awesome AU.
